Last night I went to Marina Bay to watch a light show. They project images onto a continuous spray of water. It's pretty cool for the first minute or so. I got there too late for the first show due to the labyrinth nature of everything in Singapore so I went to the Gardens by the Bay. They have these giant fake trees and I happened to get there for a... I don't know what to call it but there was music and lights. The most impressive thing was probably the giant hotel that looms over everything. At the top is an infinity pool that is out of my price range.
On Thursday I'm heading to Johor for a night and then heading up to Malacca.
Must have just missed you in Singapore, we arrived home early Thursday morning. We also saw the Gardens by the Bay and lightshow, went to the top of Marina Bay Sands and saw the infinity pool and view over Singapore- when I win lotto I will revisit and stay there! Have a safe trip, try to keep out of trouble and don't take any durians on the MRT:-) Anne
ReplyDeleteI arrived Thursday evening. There is another building that is free to go up but only allows 500 people a day. I might try to go up that as it's more in my price range.
