I'm going to do a quick update now in case I don't get a chance later.
I'm in Feport. According to Google I'm an hour away from Etretat, so really I'm 2 and a half hours away. I thought about staying in St Valery an extra day. In fact, when I woke up this morning I decided screw cycling, I'm staying in bed. I thought I'd slept in until about midday but when I woke up it was 9. So I very slowly packed my stuff. I would have regretted it if I stayed another day.
The route today was supposed to be very hilly, and it was, but it didn't seem so hard. I think it is a combination of there not being wind and some new muscles that have appeared in my legs. I've been following the Tour de France route, purely by accident, since the first St Valery. Every now and then there is graffiti on the road that spectators put there. A lot of it is to Team Sky, specifically to Froome. They went from Abbeville to La Havre in about 4 hours I think.
Today's cycle route has been the prettiest so far. Down through cosy valleys and woodlands. Feport is another beautiful seaside town. Though I get the feeling that it might not be what it seems. Some of the people seem a bit ropey, but maybe that's because I'm back from the seafront a bit. In McDonald's...
I'm half thinking I might keep going past Etretat. I'll see how I'm feeling. If I do, I probably won't post again as my battery will be flat.
