Budapest

I rode into Budapest yesterday. It was on cycle paths the entire way which made for some pleasant riding, which has been rare for Hungary. The 5km or so before reaching the city was particularly nice. It was leafy with outdoor beer gardens along the river. In summer it would be the place to be.

I'm still sick so the 22km ride took quite a while because I kept stopping. My whole body is aching from all the coughing.

I got to the hotel and waited for Mick to arrive. I've got my big bag now. So many clothes! We went for food and a bit of a wander last night then went back to the hotel. I felt bad that my coughing might disturb Mick's sleep, but then he started snoring so now I don't care. I've been coughing with impunity.

Today we're going to do one of those hop on hop off bus tours and try to figure out what some of those buildings are.
