I'm laying in my tent feeling sorry for myself. Sick again. The place where I'm camped has closed down the showers and toilet block for the year so the owner gave me a key to a room in the hostel to use the shower. I intended on waiting until she had left and going to sleep in that room but I fell asleep in the tent.
Yesterday I only rode maybe 30km. Probably not even that. I stopped at a petrol station to get some cycling fuel (red bull) and there was an Englishman in there. So I gloated about the rugby. I thought he'd enjoy listening to me gloat but he really didn't.
Last night I spent the evening coughing. This morning I have also done little but cough. It is probably the last time I'll have to pack the tent up and load everything on the bike. Mick is bringing my big bag to Budapest, which has warm clothes and long trousers. It doesn't fit on the bike so the bike must go.
Guess which bottle of water is from the tap...
Tap water is in the Aquarius bottle ... Too bad you're รข sick again, I hope you get there time and strength to visit Szentendre is on your road before Budapest. I have good memories of this city!

I think you're right.
DeleteLoose plan is to get an overnight bus to Prague, then to Krakow, then make my way through Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia towards Russia.
Prague has not been conveniently located for me this trip.
