Middle of nowhere

I went to get some groceries this morning in that long named place. So far a lot of Hungarian people seem to be very angry, getting around with frowns on their faces.  But they are probably the friendliest people on the whole that I've met so far. A few people just came up and started chatting to me today. Usually when I'm waiting to cross the road. I don't know what to make of it but it's very nice.

The ride today would have been more comfortable on a pogo stick. Bumpy asphalt and dodgy washed out farm tracks.

I got to a town called Goya I think. It was a cool mid sized town. There was a band rocking out in the mall so I stopped and watched them for a while. A lady came up and tried to sell me some aftershave that she had clearly just nicked.

The signs to get out of town were not very clear so I went the wrong way. Did a big loop but found the path again. A man who came up to chat at the lights helped out. I showed him on google maps where I wanted to go but he couldn't read it so he whipped out a magnifying glass! I could have just zoomed it in but screw technology.

It was really slow going after that. Terrible paths. I just kept plodding along until dark. I'm now camped on the edge of a farm right next to the track. There is no traffic. A farm truck and a van went past but that's it, so I should be right. I started loads of deer when I pulled up. They were hanging out in amongst the corn. I took photos but it was almost dark.

The man with the magnifying glass said it's going  to be -2 tonight. I hope he's wrong.
