Rain

Just stopped at a servo. I packed up quickly this morning and went for a quick spin through St Lawrence. The quick spin took about 10 seconds. There isn't much there. The general store seemed to be an old barn and quite frankly it scared me so I didn't go in.

It started to rain right as I got on the highway. I've stopped off for some breakfast/lunch/dinner and just ran into Squiddy, who is the son of Peter who runs the camp I stayed at in Rockhampton. I have no reason not to believe that is his real name. This is Queensland after all. They are heading to St Lawrence and said the rain is worse further north. I think I will stay in Mackay until it stops, then I might head to Eungalla Dam, where I'm told I will definitely see Platypuses.
